Feather Blow games.

  • Players: 6 or more.
  • Games tools: One large feather.
  • Instruction:

Throw the feather in the air above the players. The object is to blow hard to keep the feather from falling to the floor. See how long it can be kept aloft.

Human Spaghetti games.

  • Players: 6 – 10.
  • Games tools: none.
  • Instruction:

Form a circle facing each other. Everyone reaches out with one hand and holds the hand of another person – but not anyone who is on either side of you. Then reach out with the other hand and hold the hand of a person you don‛t already have. You now have Human Spaghetti and must try to untangle without letting go hands until a circle is formed again.

Back To Back.

  • Players: In pairs.
  • Games tools: None.
  • Instruction:

Sit back to back on the ground with arms folded across the chest. On the word go, each pair tries to stand up without uncrossing the arms, by pressing their backs together.

Circle Dodge Ball.

  • Players: At least 12.
  • Games tools: Large soft ball (e.g. Puff A Ball).
  • Instruction:

Divide players into two equal groups. One group holds hands and skips around clockwise. The other group spreads out and forms a circle around the inner group, trying to hit their legs with the rolling ball. When hit, a player joins the outer circle until there is just one
large circle. The inner circle can jump, run, open their legs but must keep holding hands.

Cover Up The Coin.

  • Players: Any number.
  • Games tools: Bucket of water, Towel, 50c piece, bag of .05c pieces.
  • Instruction:

Put 10cm of water in the bucket with the .50c piece at the bottom. Players take turns at dropping the .05c pieces into the bucket from a standing position, one coin at a time. If the .50c is covered completely before the .05c pieces run out, the game is won.

Musical Laps.

  • Players: More than 10 of about same size.
  • Games tools: Music.
  • Instruction:

All stand in a circle with hands on the waist of the player ahead. When the music starts everyone walks slowly forward. When the music stops everyone sits in the lap of the player behind.

Sardines.

  • Players: Any number.
  • Games tools: None.
  • Instruction:

One person hides. After an agreed time the rest go to find the hider. When someone finds them they hide alongside and keep quiet until everyone is hiding in the same place. The first finder becomes the hider next time.

Kangaroo Hop.

  • Players: Any number.
  • Games tools: None.
  • Instruction:

A game of tag where the first lucky person to be caught becomes a kangaroo and hops around trying to catch someone else. As soon as the next person is tagged, they join the first person in hopping around and tagging others. In the end everyone is a hopping kangaroo.

Slip the Frisbee.

  • Players: 6 or more.
  • Games tools: Frisbee.
  • Instruction:

Everyone forms a circle on hands and knees, with heads facing in. A Frisbee is placed on one person‛s back. The object is to pass the Frisbee from back to back around the circle without the use of hands.
One Word Story Each person in a circle takes turns saying one word, which will add to a story that is developing. Very amusing. Try to keep the pace lively.

Dice Ball.

  • Players: Any number.
  • Equipment: Large dice and small ball.
  • Instruction:

Players form a circle on hands and knees, with the dice in the middle, taking turns at rolling the ball at the dice. A team score is kept of the number shown on the dice. If hit, it is added. If missed, it is subtracted.
